Our Promise to You (Our Terms and Conditions)
Think of this as a simple agreement between us, NerdFix, and you, about the tech help we give you at your home. We want to be clear about what we do and what we expect.
What We Help You With:

We come to your home to help with your computers, tablets, phones, smart home devices, and other tech gadgets.

We can help set them up, show you how to use them, fix simple problems, and connect them to your internet.

We will always try our best to solve your tech issues.

We can do upgrades to devices which a agreed upon after a consulting session.
What We Don't Do (Usually):

We don't usually fix broken parts inside your devices. That might need a special repair shop.

We can help install software, but we're not responsible if the software itself has problems later on.

We can help connect to your internet, but we can't fix problems with your internet service itself. You'll need to call your internet company for that.
What We Ask From You:

Please tell us clearly what help you need. The more information you give us, the better we can assist you.

Please make sure we have a safe and comfortable place to work in your home.

It's a good idea for you to back up (make a copy of) your important photos and documents before we come, just in case something unexpected happens. We'll be careful, but it's always best to be safe.

Please give us access to your devices and any passwords you know we might need to help you. Don't worry, we'll keep them private while we're helping you.
How Much It Costs and How You Pay:

We charge $60 a hour and $30 for every half hour after that for Individuals.

We charge $70 a hour and $35 for every half hour after that for small and Micro businesses.

We do have specials (costs) for large or office setups (see pricing).

We will tell you how much it will likely cost before we start the work. If the problem is going to take longer or cost more than we thought, we'll talk to you about it first.

You can pay us by Using Credit Cards or Debit Cards, Cash or Checks.

Payment is expected when we finish helping you.
If Things Go Wrong:

We will always do our best to provide good service. However, sometimes things can happen that we can't control.

If we accidentally cause any damage while we're helping you, we will try to fix it. However, our responsibility will be limited to the cost of the service you paid for.

We are not responsible if your device or software has problems after we leave if those problems weren't caused by our service.
Keeping Your Information Safe:

We respect your privacy. Any personal information you share with us will be kept private and will only be used to help you with your tech needs. We DO NOT sell your information.
If You Need to Cancel or Change Your Appointment:

If you need to cancel or change the time we're coming, please let us know as soon as possible, preferably 24 hrs. before. If you cancel too late, we might need to charge a small fee.

By asking us to help you with your tech, you are agreeing to these simple terms.

We can change these terms sometimes, but we will always let you know if we do.
